Cold for the northern half of Europe, thunder and heavy rain in Spain
Further, sometimes heavy, outbreaks of rain affect Portugal and Spain on Tuesday with isolated showers possible over the Balearic Islands. Patchy outbreaks of rain also affect northern parts of Italy though it stays dry and sunny to the south. Dry and sunny too for much of the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
A dry and fine day for much of France though some heavy rain could affect the far south later. Bright but cool for the Low Countries, Germany and Poland with showers for northern coastal areas. Early showers ease over the Alps to leave a dry and bright day for Switzerland and Austria. Dry and bright but cool too for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
A bright but cold day for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark with frequent, often wintry, showers. Cool too for the Baltic States but staying mostly dry and sunny here.
Wet for Portugal on Tuesday with some heavy periods of rain. There will be some heavy showers in central and northern Spain, but dry to the south and easy. Fair for the Balearics and across Corsica and Sardinia as well as Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry with some sunshine here.
Wet in central and southern France with heavy and thundery rain. Drier and breezier for northern France. The Low Countries will be cold but should be bright. Cold again in northern Germany and northern Poland, but drier to the south. A few showers in the east of Hungary, drier in the west. Heavy showers western Austria and through Switzerland with some thunderstorms too.
Cold with sunshine and showers in Denmark, a few of them wintry. Rain in the Baltic States, and generally fair with sunny spells in Finland. Rain and some sleet in the south of Sweden, but dry and sunny in the north. A cold day in Norway with wintry showers over coasts.
