A spell of warm, dry and sunny weather for the eastern Mediterranean
A bright start for Spain though rain spreads across Portugal from the southwest to much of Spain. Staying dry and bright to the east and for the Balearic Islands. Patchy outbreaks of rain for northern Italy, some of these heavy, staying dry and bright to the south. A dry and mostly bright day too for Greece and Turkey with some broken cloud.
Outbreaks of heavy rain clear to the southeast from France, the Low Countries and Germany with dry but cool conditions following from the northwest. Heavy rain affects Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. This turns to snow over the Alps.
A band of rain, sleet and snow clears east from Finland and the Baltic States while a cold northerly wind affects the rest of Scandinavia. This brings brighter conditions but frequent wintry showers to Norway and Sweden. Drier but still cold for Denmark.
Further, sometimes heavy, outbreaks of rain affect Portugal and Spain on Tuesday with isolated showers possible over the Balearic Islands. Patchy outbreaks of rain also affect northern parts of Italy though it stays dry and sunny to the south. Dry and sunny too for much of the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
A dry and fine day for much of France though some heavy rain could affect the far south later. Bright but cool for the Low Countries, Germany and Poland with showers for northern coastal areas. Early showers ease over the Alps to leave a dry and bright day for Switzerland and Austria. Dry and bright but cool too for the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.
A bright but cold day for Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark with frequent, often wintry, showers. Cool too for the Baltic States but staying mostly dry and sunny here.
