Central showers, but fine and dry to the south


Thursday
Fair for Portugal and Spain on Thursday with plenty of sunshine. Staying fine for Majorca and Ibiza as well as Corsica and Sardinia. A few showers developing in Italy, but for most it is dry with further spells of sunshine. Greece stays dry with more sunshine, and it stays very warm with further sunshine over Turkey.
Fair for western parts of France, although some thundery showers may develop in the east. Scattered showers for the Low Countries, these thundery showers affecting the west and south of Germany as well. Sunny spells and showers for Poland. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will be showery too with thunderstorms in places.
Scattered showers and some sunshine for Denmark. Cloud and rain in Sweden as well as the Baltic States. Finland is breezy with some rain in the south, although fair to the north. Norway will be bright with sunny spells and should be dry for most, although some showers in the south.

Friday
Plenty of sunshine in Spain and Portugal today. Remaining fine in late summer sunshine over the Balearic Islands. Scattered showers over central Italy, but mostly fine here with lots of sunshine. Greece is going to be dry and sunny, remaining fine across Turkey too.
Risk of some rain in the far north of France, but mostly dry with lots of sunshine for many. Rather cloudy with an odd spot of rain in the Low Countries. Germany sees sunny spells and an odd shower. Poland is likely to be mostly dry with sunny spells, similar weather through Hungary, Austria and Switzerland with just an odd shower here and there.
Fine and very warm for Denmark. The Baltic States will be mostly fair too with sunny spells here. Sunny spells too across the Baltic States. Sunshine and showers in Sweden and Norway, but sunny spells in-between.
