Rain will become persistent and heavy at times during Wednesday night, continuing on Thursday morning before easing in the afternoon.Difficult driving conditions are likely due to the heavy rain accompanied by strong northerly winds during Thursday with some disruption to transport possible.

Persistent and at times heavy rain will affect the area through Wednesday night and for much of Thursday, though it will gradually ease from the south during the day.Following the overnight rainfall there is likely to be a lot of standing water on roads through the morning rush hour in particular, as well as a low riskof some local flooding.
