A band of heavy rain and high winds moves south across eastern Europe

Sunday
Mostly dry and fine through Spain and Portugal, perhaps though still more cloud towards western coasts. Mainly dry with sunshine for the Balearics as well as much of Italy and the surrounding islands here. Some patchy rain across southwest Greece but mainly dry elsewhere. A dry and fine day for Turkey.
Staying largely dry across much of central and northern Europe though with mist and fog patches are to continue to develop. A weak front does push eastwards acrss northern France, the Low Countries and Germany which will bring some patchy rain and drizzle for a time here. Windy across much of Germany and Poland where it will feel chilly.
Very wet and windy across Norway and very windy with a significant wind chill across Sweden. Rain, sleet and snow pushing eastwards across Finland on a brisk wind. Low cloud, high wind and a mix of wintry precipitation through the Baltic States too. Becoming increasingly windy across Denmark.

Monday
A dry and fine day through Iberia as well as the Balearic islands. Italy also looks to benefit form lengthy sunny spells and mostly dry conditions, however the odd shower could develop along a few eastern coasts as well as across northern Sardinia later. A few scattered showers through southern Greece but mainly dry for Turkey.
Dry and fine though with mist and fog about across central and western European countries, including France and the Low Countries. A front will bring a band of rain, heavy for a time across east Germany, south Poland and the Czech Republic. Windy too for these regions.
Perhaps slightly less windy across Scandinavia today though still with a fresh to strong wind about. Rain, sleet and snow for north and west Norway. Drier through Sweden and Finland while feeling chilly. Dry with some good sunny spells about though cold across the Baltics. A dry day for Denmark too with some sunny spells.
