Cool and showery east, warming up in the west


Friday
Thunderstorms in northern Spain on Friday. Fair in central and southern areas with lots of sunshine. The Balearics will be dry with lots of sunshine too. Thundery rain may affect northern Italy although to the south it will be dry with more sunshine. Greece will be mainly fine and dry although some scattered thunderstorms inland. Further thunderstorms inland over Turkey.
Fair and breezy over France with lots of sunshine. A scattered showers in the Low Countries and cool here. Further showers over Germany and Poland too where some may be heavy. Fair for much of Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland.
Breezy and cool with scattered showers. Heavier showers affecting Norway and the Baltic States. Breezy with further showers or rain in Finland. Cool with a strong northerly wind in Norway although some showers on northern coasts.

Saturday
Scattered thundery showers in northern Spain. Across most of the rest of Spain and Portugal the day is going to be fine with lots of sunshine and feeling very warm too. The Balearics will be dry with sunshine and it should stay that way across Sardinia, but some showers in Corsica. Scattered showers in the far south of Italy but fine and dry for most. Heavier thunderstorms may affect Greece with Turkey seeing those thunderstorms too.
Plenty of sunshine and breezy in France. The Low Countries will have isolated showers but should be mostly dry. Scattered showers in eastern parts of Germany but dry and sunny overall. Further heavy showers in Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be dry with plenty of sunshine.
Breezy and cool with sunny spells and mostly dry weather in Denmark. Sweden will be bright and dry, although some showers will affect the Baltic States and Finland. A few showers in western parts of Norway too.
