Unsettled for Scandinavia

High pressure extends across western Europe, bringing fair weather to France, the Low Countries and much of Iberia. A few thunderstorms for south-east Spain. Hot toward the south-west of Spain and Portugal, 38 to 42C.
Reaching 30 to 32C in southern France, 24C to 28C for Germany and Poland. Thunderstorms are likely to break out for south-east Germany, the Alps, locally the Balkan mountains and down the spine of Italy. Hungary will be hot and dry, reaching 32 to 34C. Lots of sunshine for Greece and areas toward the Black Sea. Scattered thunderstorms for the Romanian mountains, Poland and also western Ukraine.
Areas of thundery rain more widespread across the Baltic states. Brisk southwesterly winds across Scandinavia. Fronts bring heavy rain to western Norway. Much of Sweden starts dry but rain will develop from the west. Highs 20 to 23C in eastern Sweden and Finland. Arctic regions should stay dry until late in the day, 14 to 16C.

High pressure continues to influence western Europe. Lots of warm sunshine for Spain and Portugal, topping 40C again in south-western Iberia. Nearer 25C for the Biscay coast. Into the low 30s for south & south-west France and staying dry overall.
Feeling humid for central-northern Europe. Breezy around the English Channel. A fair day for Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany 25 to 29C, warmest in central Germany. Thunderstorms for Alpine areas and a few showers too for southern Italy and the Balkans. Scattered storms for Romania. A belt of rain affects western Ukraine and Belarus. Topping 30C again for Hungary with plenty of sun. Sunny too for Greece, with a fresh breeze for the Greek islands.
Some rain for Denmark and southern Sweden. Eastern Sweden should see a dry, bright day, 22C. Rain clears across Finland in the early hours. Low pressure to the north brings wet, windy and cool conditions to northern Norway, 11 to 14C.
