Settled conditions prevail across the Mediterranean


Sunday
A fine and sunny day for Portugal and Spain. Cloud clears from the Balearic Islands leaving a dry and sunny day here too. Dry and bright for Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy though the odd isolated shower may develop to the north later. A dry, warm and sunny day for The Balkans, Greece and Turkey.
Showery outbreaks of rain, some of it heavy, spread across the northwestern half of France, the Low Countries and much of Germany on Saturday. Windy too for coastal areas. Staying dry but clouding over for the southeastern part of France. A dry and mostly bright day for Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia though there will be varying amounts of cloud around here at times. Cloudy with frequent heavy showers for northern Poland.
A rainy day for Denmark with a strong breeze here too. Northern parts of Norway and Sweden see prolonged spells of rain or sleet on Saturday with southern areas generally brighter though scattered showers affecting these areas too. A cloudy day with frequent showers in Finland and the Baltics.

Monday
Dry, warm and bright for Portugal and Spain with occasional showers developing to the far north of Spain later. Dry, warm and sunny too across the Mediterranean for the Balearics, Italy, the Balkans, Greece and Turkey. Occasional light showers affecting the northern half of Italy at times.
Mostly fair for France with occasional showers to the north. Best of the sun to the south. Showers and breezy conditions continue for the Low Countries and Germany though these generally ease leaving a drier, brighter afternoon here. Occasional light showers affect Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia but it's a mostly bright day. Dry and fair for Hungary. Breezy for Poland with some heavy outbreaks of rain.
A cloudy but mostly dry day for Denmark. Breezy here too and for the Baltic States where there will be heavy outbreaks of rain at times. Scattered wintry showers affecting much of Norway while Sweden sees some heavier bursts of rain over central areas. Sunny spells and scattered showers, some heavy, for Finland.
