Fair and sunny central Europe, showers and rain in Mediterranean


Tuesday
A dry and bright day for Portugal on Tuesday but further light showers will fall over northern Spain. Heavy, thundery showers could develop over the Balearic Sea affecting eastern parts of Spain and the Balearics Islands through the day. These should ease by evening. A cloudy day with some scattered showers for central and southern parts of Italy, drier and brighter in the north. Continuing dry and mostly bright for Greece and Turkey.
A dry and bright start to the day for France and the Low Countries though a band of cloud will sweep in from the northwest bringing scattered showers through the second half of the afternoon. Dry and bright too for Germany though some light scattered showers could develop later in the northwest. Some light snow showers could develop for Switzerland and Austria though it should be a mostly bright day over the Alps. Mostly dry and bright too for the Czech Republic and Hungary though wintry showers are a possibility.
A dry day for Denmark though cloud will build through the afternoon. It will be breezy for the Baltic States with scattered wintry showers throughout the day. Overcast for southern Finland which will also see scattered wintry showers. Drier and brighter for Norway and Sweden though cloud will build from the west later.

Wednesday
A fair day over the north of Spai and through Portugal, plenty of spring sunshine here. Some cloud and a few showers affecting eastern parts of Spain. Heavy showers or longer spells of rain in the Balearics as well as Corsica and Sardinia. Scattered showers in central and southern Italy, fair with sunshine to the north. Greece and Turkey will have showers too.
Fair in France with plenty of sunshine. The Low Countries will have sunshine and dry weather too. Germany and Poland will have lots of sunshine and dry weather. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland share these fine conditions.
Denmark will have some bright spells. Dry in Sweden with bright weather and sunny spells. Rain in the baltic States with some sleet and snow in Finland. Further cloud and some showers in northern parts of Norway.
