High pressure recedes to the south taking the best of the dry and bright weather with it. Staying warm and sunny across the Mediterranean. Wetter and windier across western and central Europe.


Saturday
Sunny spells and dry weather through Portugal and Spain today. More sunshine in the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia as well as much of Italy. Showers and outbreaks of rain for the south of Italy as well as Greece and Turkey.
Windy in northern France but less so in the south. Sunny spells and dry weather overall, although some cloud and spots of rain in northwest France. Breezy and cloudy in the Low Countries with some cloud and spots of rain in Germany. Eastern Germany and Poland should be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and showery bursts of rain through Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
A bright start for Denmark but cloud and outbreaks of rain will develop through the afternoon. Mostly bright and dry for the Baltic States. Gales, sleet and snow in Finland. Fair for much of Sweden but some snow showers in the north. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in western parts of Norway, brighter with some showers in the north.

Sunday
Sunday will start dry and bright across Iberia but a band of cloud and rain will move in from the northwest through the afternoon. Dry and bright for the Balearics, Corsica, Sardinia and much of Italy. Cloudy with showery rain for Greece and Turkey.
Staying breezy for northern France with heavy rain for northwestern areas later in the afternoon. Dry and brighter in the southeast. A cloudy and wet day for the Low Countries and northwestern Germany too. Dry and brighter in southern Germany. Overcast for Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic while Poland will see some scattered showers.
A wet and overcast day for Denmark and the Baltic states: snow for Estonia and northern Latvia. A dry and bright day for Finland and northern Sweden. Central parts of Seden will see some snow while southern areas will see some rain. Snow first thing for southern Norway which should clear to leave a dry and bright day.
