Fine central Europe, heavy showers to the south with patchy rain in north


Thursday
A fair day in most of Portugal and Spain, although more cloud affecting eastern coasts with a chance of showers. Outbreaks of rain in the balearics with some heavier rain in eastern Sardinia and eastern Corsica. Wet for southern Italy but dry with sunny spells to the north. Greece should be mostly dry apart from a shower in the south. Turkey should be dry with sunny spells although breezy.
Sunny and dry in France and the Low Countries. Another fine autumn day in Germany and Poland. Austria and Hungary will be dry too with more sunshine to come. Switzerland remains dry with more sunshine here and feeling warm too.
Breezy with rather a lot of cloud in Denmark. Breezy with some bright spells and mild weather for the Baltic States. fair in Finland with sunny spells. Patch rain in central and southern Sweden. Norway will be breezy and damp with rain in the west.

Friday
Scattered showers in eastern Spain today. Fair for almost all of the rest of the country with lots of sunshine. Staying fine in Portugal too. Fair in the Balearics. Corsica and Sardinia will be wet, the rain heavy and this extends into much of central and southern Italy. Dry in northern Italy with sunny spells. Scattered showers in Greece although most of the country will be dry. Turkey will be breezy with dry weather and lots of sunshine.
A fine day in France with morning mist and fog patches clearing to leave lots of sunshine. The Low Countries and Poland will be dry with lots of sunshine. Staying sunny in Poland, dry too and rather breezy. Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland will be fine with lots of sunshine.
Denmark will have rain to the north but dry in the south. Breezy and drizzle in the Baltic States as brighter weather passes east through Finland. Sweden will be bright with sunny spells, dry in the north with some showers to the south. Sunshine and heavy showers in Norway.
