Mostly dry in eastern Europe but cloud and rain to the west


Wednesday
A wet day for Portugal and much of western Spain with heavy periods of rain and a risk of localised flooding. Eastern Spain should be fine with lots of sunshine. Staying fine across the Balearics and sunny too. Italy should be fair with some sunny spells. A few showers in western Greece but fair in the east. Turkey should be bright and dry with sunny spells.
More sunshine and dry weather across most of France. Broken cloud through the Low Countries and Germany with a risk of spots of drizzle. Rain in southern Poland but brighter with sunny spells to the north. Hungary will have some cloud and spots of rain, whilst Austria and Switzerland should be drier and brighter.
Fair for Denmark with variable cloud and sunny spells. Chilly with wintry showers across the Baltic States and Finland. Sweden should be dry with some sunshine in the south. Mild in Norway with drizzle in the west.


Thursday
Cloud and rain affecting Portugal and western Spain today. Better weather through central and eastern Iberia with an odd shower on coasts. Italy will be fair with sunny spells and it stays fine too across Greece and Turkey, although chilly here.
Patchy rain in western France with most central and eastern areas being dry with plenty of sunshine. Dry with some sunshine across the Low Countries and Germany. Fog may be a problem in eastern Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland should be dry with some bright or sunny spells during the day.
More sunshine to come across Denmark and dry weather here. Remaining dry for the Baltic States, although some patchy rain in western parts of Finland. Patchy rain on the coasts of Sweden. Damp and rather cloudy across Norway with more persistent rain in the south.
