Dry in central Europe, mild and unsettled north, showery Mediterranean


Tuesday
The very unsettled weather pattern continues across the western half of the Mediterranean with heavy rain and heavy showers from eastern Spain eastward to Italy. Heavy snow to come across The Alps. Chilly but a dry day is expected across Portugal, Spain and most of France.
Some heavy rain may affect the far south of France. Lots of dry weather with sunny spells are likely across Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Poland into Sweden, Norway, Finland, the Adriatic Region and the Balkans. Some snow is expected across the Ukraine, southern Russia and northern Turkey. Rain and snow is forecast across northern Russia with rain across the Baltic States.


Wednesday
Rain affecting northwest Spain today. Further rain in eastern parts of Spin and the Balearics too. Elsewhere Iberia should be dry with sunny spells. Heavy showers in central and southern parts of Italy but some fog in the north. Mostly dry for Greece with sunny spells. Rain and the risk of sleet and snow in eastern Turkey but drier to the west.
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain in the far northwest of France. Fog patches and dry weather in central France, the risk of some rain in the far south. Mostly dry in the Low Countries with sunny spells. Scotland and Poland will be dry with some sunny spells here, although fog patches in the south. Dry and bright in Hungary, and although dry in Switzerland and Hungary there will be some fog patches.
The risk of some rain in western Denmark. Drier and brighter to the east with some sunny spells here. Breezy with sunny spells in the Baltic States and Finland. Dry and breezy in Sweden. Windy with rain affecting Norway and mild too.
