Spells of rain northern Europe


Sunday
With high pressure dominant across central and southern Europe the warm and fine conditions are expected to continue through Sunday. There is, however, the risk of an odd shower or two across the Greek islands.
Windy across northern France but mainly dry. Cloudy with outbreaks of rain through Belgium and the Netherlands. Some rain for northern regions of Germany but mainly dry though windy. Windy with outbreaks of rain across much of Poland. Dry and fine down the Balkans, Austria and Switzerland.
Plenty of cloud about and some patchy rain across south and west Norway. Rain, sleet and snow across northern Sweden. Largely dry across Finland. Rain clearing the Baltic States and it will be breezy here. Unsettled with spells of heavy rain and strong winds for Denmark.


Monday
Staying dry across the Mediterranean with plenty of sunshine and feeling pleasantly warm for southern Spain and France, the Balearics, Italy and Greece.
Windy for central-northern Europe, with spells of rain or showers for northern France and Germany. Some more persistent rain into the northern Alps, snow confined to the mountains. Persistent rain for a few hours for Poland, patchy rain for Slovakia and Hungary. The Balkans will stay generally dry.
Windy for southern Scandinavia, gales around coasts with frequent showers for Denmark, southern Norway and Sweden Some clearer weather further north. Rain and some snow for the Baltic states. Finland and the far north stays chilly with snow flurries.
