Cold air edges further southward over central Europe


Sunday
Fair for Spain with good spells of sunshine. Italy will be fair too with sunny spells. Greece is going to be dry too with plenty of sunshine. A few showers deveoping in central and southern Turkey.
Fine for the south of France once morning mist and fog patches have cleared. Northern areas of France will have cloud and outbreaks of rain. More rain in the Low Countries and through central Germany, this rain extending into northern Poland. The south of Poland, Austria and Hungary as well as Switzerland should be dry but morning mist and fog could again be a problem.
Windy in Denmark with rain or showers, most in the west. Further wind and a few showers in the Baltic States. Wet for Finland, some windy weather here. Sweden will be bright with a few showers but cold. Rain and snow showers affecting western Norway.

Monday
Fair for Spain and Portugal with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells. Showers developing later for northwest Spain and northern Portugal. Fair for Italy with cloudier skies to the north, good spells of sunshine to the south. Dry and sunny for Greece and much of Turkey. Thunderstorms developing over southeastern Turkey.
Outbreaks of rain affect central France, Switzerland, southern Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria and southern Poland on Monday. Staying mostly dry but cloudy for Slovakia and Hungary. A cold but mostly bright day for northern France, the Low Countries and northern Germany with occasional coastal showers.
Cold and mostly bright for Denmark with occasional scattered showers. Rain clears from the southern Baltics to leave a mostly dry and bright afternoon here. Bright with scattered wintry showers for much of Norway, Sweden and Finland. Showers most frequent to the west.
