Heavy rain in central Europe


Friday
Thundery rain in northern France on Friday. Portugal and the central and southern parts of Spain should be dry with sunny spells. Fair in Corsica and Sardinia, although some heavy showers may affect northern Italy. Greece and Turkey will be hot and dry.
Thundery and hot in France with the heavy thunderstorms extending into Switzerland, Austria and western Hungary. The Low Countries and most of Germany will be dry with lots of sunshine. Poland will be dry and sunny too.
Denmark will be fine with plenty of sunshine. The Baltic States and Finland will be dry with more sunshine and should be warm. Sweden and Norway will have a dry day too with high pressure giving sunny spells.

Saturday
Rain in northern Spain on Saturday. Portugal and most of Spain should be dry with lots of sunshine. Fair across the Balearics with a risk of some thundery showers. Thunderstorms affecting northern Italy but fine to the south with sunny spells. Greece and Turkey should be fair with good spells of sunshine.
A wet day in eastern and southern France with heavy and thundery rain, showery to the west. Heavy, thundery rain in the Low Countries and western parts of Germany. This heavy rain extends into Switzerland and western Austria. eastern Austria and Hungary will have showers. The showers affecting Poland too.
Breezy in Denmark with sunny spells and scattered showers. The Baltic States and Finland will be dry with sunny spells. Sweden and Norway should be dry too with more sunshine.
